apamṛtyu pariharisò aniladeva
Ward off untimely death, O Lord of Wind!

Verse 2 — kṛpaṇa vatsalanè kāyvara kāṇè jagadòl̤agè

kṛpaṇa vatsalanè kāyvara kāṇè jagadòl̤agè
O compassionate refuge of the humble — I see none in this world who can protect me.

Verse 3 — ninaginnu samarāda animitta bāṃdhavaru

Now, O Lord, do I have kinsmen equal to You, come unbidden —
