पान्त्वस्मान् पुरुहूतवैरिबलवन्मातङ्गमाद्यद्घटा-कुम्भोच्चाद्रिविपाटनाधिकपटुप्रत्येकवज्रायिताः ।
pāntvāsmān puruhūtavairibalavānmātaṅgamādyadghaṭā-kumbhōchchādrivipāṭanādhikapuṭupratyēkavajrāyitāḥ |
May they protect us - those (nails) which are like individual thunderbolts, more powerful in splitting the temple-like skulls of the mighty elephants of Indra's enemy (Hiranyakashipu)...

श्रीमत्कण्ठीरवास्यप्रततसुनखरा दारितारातिदूर-प्रध्वस्तध्वान्तशान्तप्रविततमनसा भाविता भूरिभागैः ॥ १ ॥
śrīmatkaṇṭhīravāsyapratatasunakharā dāritārātidūra-pradhvastadhvāntaśāntapravitatamanasā bhāvitā bhūribhāgaiḥ || 1 ||
The beautiful nails of the glorious Lion-faced Lord (Narasimha), which tore apart the enemy, dispelled the darkness far away, and are meditated upon by those of great fortune with peaceful and expansive minds.

लक्ष्मीकान्त समन्ततोऽविकलयन् नैवेश्यमीशो यतः त्वं हे नृत्तगृहीतरूपनिचये यातस्ततोऽन्यैरजैः ।
lakṣmīkānta samantatō:'vikalayan naivēśyamīśō yataḥ tvaṁ hē nr̥ttagr̥hītarūpanicayē yātastatō:'nyairajaiḥ |
O Lord of Lakshmi! You alone are the master who cannot be fully comprehended from all directions, O You who have assumed the form of the dancer (Narasimha), having gone thus by others (who remain) unborn...

Verse 6 — कायव्यूहमसह्यकोपदहनज्वालावलीपञ्जरे…

कायव्यूहमसह्यकोपदहनज्वालावलीपञ्जरे पान्त्वस्मान् प्रथयन्नखोखिलसुरान् गर्भोदयोत्खातवान् ॥ २ ॥
kāyavyūhamasahyakōpadahanajvālāvalīpañjarē pāntvāsmān prathayanakhōkhilasurān garbhōdayōtkhātavān || 2 ||
May He protect us - He whose body was surrounded by a cage of unbearable flames of anger, who displayed His nails to all the gods, and who excavated (Hiranyakashipu) from within.

श्रीमद्विष्ण्वङ्घ्रिनिष्ठातिगुणगुरुतमश्रीमदानन्दतीर्थ-त्रैलोक्याचार्यपादोज्ज्वलजलजलसत्पांसवोऽस्मान् पुनन्तु ।
śrīmadviṣṇvaṅghriniṣṭhātiguṇagurutamaśrīmadānandatīrtha-trailōkyācāryapādōjjvalajalajlasatpāṁsavō'smān punantu |
May the holy dust particles from the radiant lotus feet of Sri Ananda Tirtha (Madhvacharya), the world-teacher, who is most devoted to the feet of Lord Vishnu and supreme in excellent qualities, purify us.

यत्प्रज्ञाविष्कृतिः केवलमथ परमं वादिराड्गण्डशैलम् पञ्चद्वारं भिनद्मी निजमतनिवहैर्भव्यसिंहो यतीनाम् ॥ १ ॥
yatprajñāviṣkr̥tiḥ kēvalamattha paramaṁ vādirāḍgaṇḍaśailam pañchadvāraṁ bhinadmī nijamatanavahairbhavyasiṁhō yatīnām || 1 ||
He whose wisdom-display alone destroys the supreme mountain-like pride of the king of debaters through the five doors (senses), is the noble lion among ascetics through his own doctrinal teachings.

Verse 11 — उत्कण्ठाकुण्ठकोलाहलजवविजिताजस्रसेवानुवृद्ध-प्राज…

उत्कण्ठाकुण्ठकोलाहलजवविजिताजस्रसेवानुवृद्ध-प्राज्ञात्मज्ञानधूतान्धतमससुमनोमौलिरत्नावलीनाम् ।
utkaṇṭhākuṇṭhakōlāhalajavavijitājasrasēvānuvr̥ddha-prājñātmajñānadhūtāndhaatamasasumanōmauliratanāvalīnām |
Whose eager devotion, victorious with unrestrained tumultuous speed, grows through constant service; the crest-jewels of the wise-souled ones whose darkness of ignorance is dispelled by self-knowledge...

Verse 12 — विष्ण्वंघ्रिस्मृतिः पर्याप्ता मुक्तिलाभाय नृणां…

विष्ण्वंघ्रिस्मृतिः पर्याप्ता मुक्तिलाभाय नृणां दिव्या सा ते तदङ्घ्रिस्नातमौलेः ननु मुक्तिरितः पादकञ्जद्वयात्ते ॥ २ ॥
viṣṇvaṅghrisamr̥tiḥ paryāptā muktilābhāya nr̥ṇāṁ divyā sā tē tadaṅghrisnātamaulēḥ nanu muktir̥taḥ pādakañjadvayāttē || 2 ||
The divine remembrance of Vishnu's feet is sufficient for humans to attain liberation. Indeed, liberation flows from your two lotus feet for those whose heads are bathed in those (Vishnu's) feet.

जन्माधिव्याध्युपाधिप्रतिहतिविरहप्रापकाणां गुणानाम् अग्र्याणामर्पकाणां चिरमुदितचिदानन्दसन्दोहदानाम् ।
janmādhivyādhyupādhipratiahativirahaprāpakāṇāṁ guṇānām agryāṇāmarpakāṇāṁ ciramudita cidānanadasandōhadānām |
Of those qualities which remove the hindrances of birth, disease, and limitations, and which grant freedom from suffering; which are the foremost bestowers, the givers of the eternal flood of consciousness and bliss...

Verse 14 — पादौ पद्मासनं नौम्यहममलमहाज्ञानदं…

पादौ पद्मासनं नौम्यहममलमहाज्ञानदं देवदेव-प्राणेशं ब्राह्मणानां विमलमसुभृतां भूभृतां भूष्णुमीड्यम् ॥ ३ ॥
pādau padmāsanaṁ naumyahamamalamaahājñānadaṁ dēvadēva-prāṇēśaṁ brāhmaṇānāṁ vimalamsubhr̥tāṁ bhūbhr̥tāṁ bhūṣṇumīḍyam || 3 ||
I bow to the lotus seat of the feet of the Lord of the life-breath of Brahmanas, the God of gods, giver of pure great knowledge, the pure sustainer of beings, praised by the kings, ever prospering.

Verse 15 — अस्याविष्कर्तुकामं कलिमलकलुषेऽस्मिन् जने…

अस्याविष्कर्तुकामं कलिमलकलुषेऽस्मिन् जने ज्ञानमार्गं वन्द्यं चन्द्रेन्द्ररुद्रद्युमणिफणिवयोनायकाद्यैरिहाद्य ।
asyāviṣkartukāmaṁ kalimalakaluṣē'smin janē jñānamārgaṁ vandyaṁ candrēndrarudradyumaṇiphaṇivayōnāyakādyairihādya |
He who desires to reveal the path of knowledge to this world polluted by the impurities of Kali Yuga, is worshipped by the Moon, Indra, Rudra, the Sun, Shesha, and the leaders of the Maruts.

Verse 16 — अध्यात्मज्ञानिनान्द्याज्ञनिवहसहितं सन्ततं…

अध्यात्मज्ञानिनान्द्याज्ञनिवहसहितं सन्ततं सत्त्वसंस्थं प्राणेशं तं प्रपद्ये पवनतनयवत्सद्गुरुं श्रीमदाद्यम् ॥ ४ ॥
adhyātmajñānināndyājñanivahsahitaṁ santataṁ sattvasaṁsthaṁ prāṇēśaṁ taṁ prapadyē pavanatanayavatsadguruṁ śrīmadādyam || 4 ||
I take refuge in that Lord of life-breath, accompanied by the knowledgeable followers of spiritual wisdom, ever established in pure sattva, the glorious primordial true guru, dear to the son of the Wind (Hanuman).

Verse 17 — उद्यद्विद्युत्प्रचण्डां निजरुचिनिकरव्याप्तलोकावक…

उद्यद्विद्युत्प्रचण्डां निजरुचिनिकरव्याप्तलोकावकाशो बिभ्रद्भीमो भुजे योऽभ्युदितदिनकराभाङ्गदाढ्यप्रकाण्डे ।
udyadvidyutpracaṇḍāṁ nijarucinikaravyāptalōkāvakāśō bibhradbhīmō bhujē yō'bhyuditadinakarābhāṅgadāḍhyaprakāṇḍē |
Bhima, who fills all the space of the worlds with rays of his own luster, bearing in his arm - which is like the trunk of a rising sun adorned with armlets - a mace fierce as rising lightning...

Verse 18 — भ्राजिष्णुं भ्रूविलासैः क्षपितसकलसान्द्रारिवीरं…

भ्राजिष्णुं भ्रूविलासैः क्षपितसकलसान्द्रारिवीरं वरिष्ठं तं वन्दे पूर्वजं ते पवनसुतवरारोहमुख्यप्रधानम् ॥ ५ ॥
bhrājiṣṇuṁ bhrūvilāsaiḥ kṣapitasakalasāndrārivīraṁ variṣṭhaṁ taṁ vandē pūrvajaṁ tē pavanasutavarārōhamukhyapradhānam || 5 ||
I bow to that radiant one, who by the playful movements of his eyebrows destroyed all the dense army of enemy heroes, the most excellent, your elder brother (Bhima), chief among the prime riders of the Wind-god's son.

Verse 19 — मण्डीकृत्य व्रजोद्यन्नवघनरुचिनाजं…

मण्डीकृत्य व्रजोद्यन्नवघनरुचिनाजं प्रगल्भार्थमुक्त्या विद्याबुद्धिप्रदं तं प्रणमत मनसा मारुतिं भक्तिपूतैः ।
maṇḍīkr̥tya vrajōdyannavaghanarucinājāṁ pragalbhārthamukyā vidyābuddhipradaṁ taṁ praṇamata manasā mārutiṁ bhaktipūtaiḥ |
Having bowed down, prostrate with your minds purified by devotion to Maruti (Hanuman), who gives knowledge and wisdom, who moves like a newly risen cloud...

Verse 20 — वान्तद्वैतापहान्तव्यसनकृतमहासेतुबन्धोद्धतायि-त्र…

वान्तद्वैतापहान्तव्यसनकृतमहासेतुबन्धोद्धतायि-त्रातारं वाक्षतानां प्रणतिमुपगतं जानकीजीविकं वः ॥ ६ ॥
vāntadvaitāpahāntavyasanakr̥tamahāsētubandhōddhatāyi-trātāraṁ vākṣatānāṁ praṇatimupagataṁ jānakījīvikaṁ vaḥ || 6 ||
May he who rejects duality, who removes afflictions, who constructed the great bridge (to Lanka), the protector who rose up, the savior of the distressed, who came to bow, the life-giver to Janaki (Sita), be yours.

Verse 21 — वह्नि ज्वलन्तमुत्सृज्य स्वयं प्राप्तः समीपतः…

वह्नि ज्वलन्तमुत्सृज्य स्वयं प्राप्तः समीपतः रामः प्रीत्या समालिङ्ग्य ददौ विद्यां समृद्धिदाम् ।
vahni jvalantamutsṛjya svayaṁ prāptaḥ samīpataḥ rāmaḥ prītyā samāliṅgya dadau vidyāṁ samṛddhidām |
Having cast aside the blazing fire, he himself approached nearby; Rama, embracing him with love, gave him the wisdom that bestows prosperity.

Verse 22 — जयद्वानरमुख्याय सत्यसन्धाय मौळिने ।…

जयद्वानरमुख्याय सत्यसन्धाय मौळिने ।
रामप्राणप्रियायाशु महतीं कीर्तिमाप्नुहि ॥ ७ ॥
jayadvānaramukhyāya satyasandhāya mauḷinē |
rāmaprāṇapriyāyāśu mahatīṁ kīrtimāpnuhi || 7 ||
Victory to the chief of monkeys, who is true to his word, crowned with glory. O beloved of Rama's very life, quickly attain great fame!

Verse 23 — देवाधिदेवं जगदेकनाथं विश्वाभयं शाश्वतं…

देवाधिदेवं जगदेकनाथं विश्वाभयं शाश्वतं शान्तमूर्तिम् ।
श्रीवल्लभं सर्वगुणैकराशिं विष्णुं भजे त्रैगुण्यदोषदूरम् ॥ ८ ॥
dēvādhidēvaṁ jagadēkanāthaṁ viśvābhayaṁ śāśvataṁ śāntamūrtim |
śrīvallabhaṁ sarvaguṇaikarāśiṁ viṣṇuṁ bhajē traiguṇyadōṣadūram || 8 ||
I worship Vishnu, the God of gods, the sole Lord of the universe, the fearlessness of the world, eternal, of peaceful form, beloved of Sri, the treasure-house of all virtues, far from the defects of the three gunas.

Verse 24 — नीलमेघश्यामं राममलघुवरदं कौस्तुभालङ्कृताङ्गं…

नीलमेघश्यामं राममलघुवरदं कौस्तुभालङ्कृताङ्गं पीताम्बरधरं विष्णुं प्रणताशेषकामार्थदम् ।
nīlamēghaśyāmaṁ rāmamalaghuvardaṁ kaustubhālaṅkr̥tāṅgaṁ pītāmbaradharaṁ viṣṇuṁ praṇatāśēṣakāmārthadam |
Dark as a blue cloud, Rama the great bestower of boons, with body adorned by the Kaustubha gem, wearing yellow garments, Vishnu who grants all desires and wealth to those who bow.

Verse 25 — सर्वान्तरात्मानमनादिमीशं सदाशिवं शर्वमुमाधवं च…

सर्वान्तरात्मानमनादिमीशं सदाशिवं शर्वमुमाधवं च ।
सर्वज्ञमज्ञानतमिस्रनाशं सर्वैश्वर्योपेतमशेषहेतुम् ॥ ९ ॥
sarvāntarātmānamānādimīśaṁ sadāśivaṁ śarvamumādhavaṁ ca |
sarvajñamajñānatamisranāśaṁ sarvaiśvaryōpētamaśēṣahētum || 9 ||
The inner Self of all, the beginningless Lord, ever-auspicious Shiva, Sharva (destroyer), lord of Uma, the omniscient destroyer of the darkness of ignorance, endowed with all sovereignty, the cause of everything.

Verse 26 — विद्युत्कान्ति विदारितारि गजरैर्मातङ्गलीलादर-प्र…

विद्युत्कान्ति विदारितारि गजरैर्मातङ्गलीलादर-प्रध्वस्ताहितदन्तिदन्तमुसलद्वैधीकृताराति यः ।
vidyutkānti vidāritāri gajaraimātaṅgalīlādara-pradhvastāhitadantidantamusaladividhīkr̥tārāti yaḥ |
He who has the radiance of lightning, who tore apart the enemy elephants, who playfully like an elephant destroyed the enemy's elephant tusks, who split the enemies into two with the pestle...

Verse 27 — कृष्णात्परं किमपि तत्त्वमहं न जाने पीताम्बरेण…

कृष्णात्परं किमपि तत्त्वमहं न जाने पीताम्बरेण नवमाल्यवनाभिरामम् ।
अत्यन्तचारुतरयौवनगर्वधारि प्रत्यग्रसुन्दरमुखेन्दुनि लोलनेत्रम् ॥ १० ॥
kr̥ṣṇātparaṁ kimapi tattvaamahaṁ na jānē pītāmbarēṇa navamālyavanābhirāmam |
atyantacārutarayauvanagarvdhāri pratyagrasundaramukēnduni lōlanētram || 10 ||
I know no reality greater than Krishna, beautiful with yellow garments and fresh garlands, bearing the pride of exceedingly charming youth, with restless eyes in a face like a fresh beautiful moon.

Verse 28 — श्रीनिवासं नवपल्लवारुणपदं प्राणाधिपं वायु…

श्रीनिवासं नवपल्लवारुणपदं प्राणाधिपं वायु देवप्राणेश्वरं जगद्गुरुं सर्वार्थदं धर्मप्रवर्तकम् ।
śrīnivāsaṁ navapallavāruṇapadaṁ prāṇādhipaṁ vāyu dēvaprāṇēśvaraṁ jagadguruṁ sarvārthadaṁ dharmapravartakam |
The abode of Sri, with feet red as new sprouts, the lord of life-breath, Vayu the lord of the gods' life-breath, world-teacher, giver of all goals, propagator of dharma.

Verse 29 — ब्रह्मैव योऽयं प्रथमो हनूमान् संजायते…

ब्रह्मैव योऽयं प्रथमो हनूमान् संजायते वायुसुतोऽथ भीमः ।
तृतीयमध्वार्यमुपैति शंभोः तमाद्यमाचार्यमहं प्रपद्ये ॥ ११ ॥
brahmaiva yō'yaṁ prathamō hanūmān sañjāyatē vāyusutō'tha bhīmaḥ |
tr̥tīyamadvāryamupaitiśambhōḥ tamādyamācāryamahaṁ prapadyē || 11 ||
He who is verily Brahma, first born as Hanuman the son of Vayu, then as Bhima, attains the third (incarnation as) Madhva, the sacrificial priest of Shambhu (Shiva). I take refuge in that primordial teacher.

Verse 30 — विष्णोरत्युत्तमत्वादखिलगुणगणैः सर्वजीवोत्तमत्वात…

विष्णोरत्युत्तमत्वादखिलगुणगणैः सर्वजीवोत्तमत्वात् सर्वेषामाश्रयत्वाद्बहुगुणितगणः सर्वदाऽसौ स्मृतोऽस्तु ।
viṣṇōratyuttamatvādakhilaguṇagaṇaiḥ sarvajīvōttamatvāt sarvēṣāmāśrayatvādbahuguitagaṇaḥ sarvadā'sau smr̥tō'stu |
Because of being exceedingly superior to Vishnu (in devoted service), possessing all qualities, being the best among all souls, being the refuge of all, may he who is multiplied by many virtues be always remembered.

Verse 31 — ब्रह्माण्यैश्वर्यमुख्यैर्यदुभयनियतं…

ब्रह्माण्यैश्वर्यमुख्यैर्यदुभयनियतं कर्तृकर्मप्रसिद्धं सोऽयं विष्णोः पदे शुद्धभक्तैर्निश्चितात्मा भजेद्यः ॥ १२ ॥
brahmāṇyaiśvaryamukhyairyad ubhayaniyataṁ kartr̥karmaprasiddhaṁ sō'yaṁ viṣṇōḥ padē śuddhabhaktairniscitātmā bhajēdyaḥ || 12 ||
He who is bound by both the glories of Brahma and sovereignty, renowned for both doer and deed - may that pure-souled one with pure devotion worship at the feet of Vishnu.

Verse 32 — दुर्वादिध्वान्तरविं निजमतशरणैरुल्लसद्भिः…

दुर्वादिध्वान्तरविं निजमतशरणैरुल्लसद्भिः प्रभाभि-र्वायुं तत्त्वज्ञमुक्तिभाजः पुरभिद्भिरभितो दृश्यते यो भवस्तैः ।
durvādhidhvāntarviṁ nijamatśaraṇairullasadbhiḥ prabhābhir-vāyuṁ tattvajñamuktibhājaḥ purabid bhirabhitō dr̥śyatē yō bhavastaḥ |
May Vayu, the sun dispelling the darkness of evil disputants, radiant with the splendor of his own doctrine's refuge, be seen all around by those knowers of truth and partakers of liberation, who destroy the cities (of enemies).

Verse 33 — यस्य ज्ञानं विना नो खलु परमगतेर्लाभतोऽन्यं भवं…

यस्य ज्ञानं विना नो खलु परमगतेर्लाभतोऽन्यं भवं नो वायुं तं वन्दे वन्द्यमनन्द्यं सुरगुरुचरणाम्भोज भृङ्गं च भृङ्गम् ॥ १३ ॥
yasya jñānaṁ vinā nō khalu paramagatērlābhatō'nyaṁ bhavaṁ nō vāyuṁ taṁ vandē vandyamanandyaṁ suragurcaraṇāmbhōja bhr̥ṅgaṁ ca bhr̥ṅgam || 13 ||
Without whose knowledge there is indeed no attainment of the supreme goal, nor any other existence - I bow to that Vayu, worthy of worship, free from blame, a bee at the lotus feet of the divine guru, and the bee itself.

Verse 34 — अधुनापि निजैर्मतैरखण्डं जगदेतन्महितं करोतु…

अधुनापि निजैर्मतैरखण्डं जगदेतन्महितं करोतु शान्तम् ।
हरिपादकमलैकनिष्ठया तं प्रतिकूलं परमार्थतः किमस्य ॥ १४ ॥
adhunāpi nijairmatairakaṇḍaṁ jagadētanmahitaṁ karōtu śāntam |
haripādakamalaikaniṣṭhayā taṁ pratikūlaṁ paramārthataḥ kimasya || 14 ||
Even now, may he make this honored world whole and peaceful through his own doctrines. Through sole devotion to Hari's lotus feet, what is truly unfavorable to him?

Verse 35 — रामो नाम बभूव सुप्रियतनयः कृष्णस्य साक्षात्परम्…

रामो नाम बभूव सुप्रियतनयः कृष्णस्य साक्षात्परम् ब्रह्मैवास्य विभक्तशक्तिविषये विष्णुः स्वयं प्रोच्यते ।
rāmō nāma babhūva supriyatanayaḥ kr̥ṣṇasya sākṣātparam brahmaivāsya vibhaktaśaktiviṣayē viṣṇuḥ svayaṁ prōchyatē |
Rama became the beloved son of Krishna, directly the Supreme Brahman; in the aspect of manifested power, He Himself is called Vishnu.

Verse 36 — तस्माद्रामाग्रजं विष्णुमिव वायुमभीप्सितं तं…

तस्माद्रामाग्रजं विष्णुमिव वायुमभीप्सितं तं वन्दे वन्द्यमनन्द्यं भजे सौख्यदं ॥ १५ ॥
tasmādrāmāgrajaṁ viṣṇumiva vāyumabhīpsitaṁ taṁ vandē vandyamanandyaṁ bhajē saukhyadaṁ || 15 ||
Therefore I bow to that desired Vayu, like Vishnu the elder brother of Rama, worthy of worship, free from blame, and I worship the giver of happiness.

य इदं पठते नित्यं वायुदेवस्य संस्तवम् ।
स सर्वान् कामानवाप्नोति सर्वदुःखैः प्रमुच्यते ॥
ya idaṁ paṭhatē nityaṁ vāyudēvasya saṁstavam |
sa sarvān kāmānavāpnōti sarvaduḥkhaiḥ pramuchyatē ||
He who recites this hymn of praise to Lord Vayu daily, attains all desires and is freed from all sorrows.
