भजतां कल्पवृक्षाय नमतां कामधेनवे

pūjyāya rāghavendrāya satyadharmaratāya ca |
bhajatāṃ kalpavṛkṣāya namatāṃ kāmadhenave

Salutations to the venerable Rāghavendra, ever devoted to truth and righteous duty — a wish-granting kalpavṛkṣa tree to those who worship him, a bounteous kāmadhenu cow to those who bow before him.

To the sun that scatters the darkness of false disputants, the moon that unfolds the lotus of the Vaiṣṇavas — to the boundlessly compassionate preceptor Śrī Rāghavendra, I offer my salutation.

सेवे सज्ज्ञानसौख्यार्थं सन्तापत्रयशान्तये

śrīsudhīndrābdhisambhūtān rāghavendrakalānidhīn |
seve sajjñānasaukhyārthaṃ santāpatrayaśāntaye

I serve Rāghavendra — the moon-like treasury of arts, risen from the ocean that is Śrī Sudhīndra (his guru) — seeking true knowledge and well-being, and the stilling of the three afflictions.

अघं द्रावयते यस्माद्वेङ्कारो वाञ्छितप्रदः ।
राघवेन्द्रयतिस्तस्माल्लोके ख्यातो भविष्यति

aghaṃ drāvayate yasmādveṅkāro vāñchitapradaḥ |
rāghavendrayatistasmālloke khyāto bhaviṣyati

Because his name melts away sin (agha) and its very sound bestows what is longed for, this ascetic shall become renowned throughout the world by the name 'Rāghavendra.'

मौनीशव्यासराजादुदितकिसलयःपुष्पितोऽयं जयीन्द्रादद्य श्रीराघवेन्द्राद्विलसति फलितो मध्वसिद्धान्तशाखी

vyāsena vyuptabījaḥ śrutibhuvi bhagavatpādalabdhāṅkuraśrīḥ bradhnairīṣatprabhinno'jani jayamuninā samyagudbhinnaśākhaḥ |
maunīśavyāsarājāduditakisalayaḥpuṣpito'yaṃ jayīndrādadya śrīrāghavendrādvilasati phalito madhvasiddhāntaśākhī

The tree of Madhva's doctrine — its seed sown by Vyāsa in the soil of the Vedas, sprouting in grace at the feet of Bhagavatpāda, gently unfolded by the radiant line of gurus and richly branched by Jayatīrtha, budding through Vyāsarāja and blossoming through Jayīndra — now, in Śrī Rāghavendra, stands resplendent and laden with fruit.

मूकोऽपि यत्प्रसादेन मुकुन्दशयनायते ।

rājarājāyate rikto rāghavendraṃ tamāśraye

By whose grace the mute become eloquent and the destitute become kings among kings — in that Rāghavendra I take my refuge.
