Verse 1 — मुंजानॆयॆद्दु गोविंद ऎन्नि नम्म

मुंजानॆयॆद्दु गोविंद ऎन्नि नम्म
muṃjānèyèddu goviṃda ènni namma
Rise at dawn and chant 'Govinda' — our Lord,

Verse 2 — नंजिप दुरितवु दूरवॆन्नि

नंजिप दुरितवु दूरवॆन्नि
naṃjipa duritavu dūravènni
bid our burning sorrows be gone.

Verse 3 — असुरसंहारियॆन्नि दशशिरवैरियॆन्नि
