Verse 1 — ತಾರಕ ಬಿಂದಿಗೆ ನಾ ನೀರಿಗೆ ಹೋಗುವೆ ತಾರೆ ಬಿಂದಿಗೆಯ

ತಾರಕ ಬಿಂದಿಗೆ ನಾ ನೀರಿಗೆ ಹೋಗುವೆ ತಾರೆ ಬಿಂದಿಗೆಯ
tāraka biṃdigè nā nīrigè hoguvè tārè biṃdigèya
Sister, bring the radiant pot — I am off to fetch water.
