ಪಾಂತ್ವಸ್ಮಾನ್ ಪುರುಹೂತವೈರಿ ಬಲವನ್ ಮಾತಂಗ ಮಾದ್ಯದ್ಘಟಾ ।
ಕುಂಭೋಚ್ಚಾದ್ರಿವಿಪಾಟನಾಧಿಕಪಟು ಪ್ರತ್ಯೇಕವಜ್ರಾಯಿತಾಃ ।
ಶ್ರೀಮತ್ಕಂಠೀರವಾಸ್ಯಪ್ರತತಸುನಖರಾ ದಾರಿತಾರಾತಿದೂರ ।
ಪ್ರಧ್ವಸ್ತಧ್ವಾಂತ ಶಾಂತ ಪ್ರವಿತತಮನಸಾ ಭಾವಿತಾ ಭೂರಿಭಾಗೈಃ ॥

May He protect us — the mighty Lord Narasiṃha, whose claws, each a thunderbolt, are sharper than the splitting of the mountain-like foreheads of the mad elephantine foes; whose far-spread claws tear enemies from afar; who dispels darkness and is contemplated in tranquil minds by the many blessed.
