The Liṅga worshipped by Brahmā, Murāri (Viṣṇu) and the gods,

Verse 3 — நிர்மல பாஸித ஶோபித லிங்கம்

nirmala bhāsita śobhita liṅgaṃ
the Liṅga shining resplendent, pure and radiant,

Verse 4 — ஜந்மஜ துஃக விநாஶக லிங்கம்

janmaja duḥkha vināśaka liṅgaṃ
the Liṅga that destroys the sorrows born of birth —

devamuni pravārārcita liṅgaṃ
The Liṅga worshipped by the gods and the foremost sages,

Verse 7 — காமதஹந கருணாகர லிங்கம்

kāmadahana karuṇākara liṅgaṃ
the Liṅga that burnt Kāma to ashes, the very source of compassion,

Verse 8 — ராவண தர்ப விநாஶக லிங்கம்

ராவண தர்ப விநாஶக லிங்கம்
rāvaṇa darpa vināśaka liṅgaṃ
the Liṅga that shattered Rāvaṇa's pride —

Verse 9 — தத் ப்ரணமாமி ஸதாஶிவ லிங்கம்

To that Sadāśiva Liṅga I bow.

sarva sugandha sulepita liṅgaṃ
The Liṅga anointed with every fragrant unguent,

Verse 11 — புத்தீ விவர்தந காரண லிங்கம்

buddhī vivardhana kāraṇa liṅgaṃ
the Liṅga that is the cause of the growth of wisdom,

kanaka mahāmaṇi bhūṣita liṅgaṃ
The Liṅga adorned with gold and great gems,

Verse 15 — பணிபதி வேஷ்டித ஶோபித லிங்கம்

பணிபதி வேஷ்டித ஶோபித லிங்கம்
phaṇipati veṣṭita śobhita liṅgaṃ
the Liṅga gracefully entwined by the lord of serpents,

Verse 16 — தக்ஷ ஸுயஜ்ஞ விநாஶந லிங்கம்

தக்ஷ ஸுயஜ்ஞ விநாஶந லிங்கம்
dakṣa suyajña vināśana liṅgaṃ
the Liṅga that destroyed Dakṣa's sacrifice —

Verse 17 — தத் ப்ரணமாமி ஸதாஶிவ லிங்கம்

Verse 18 — குமகும சம்தந லேபித லிங்கம்

kumakuma caṃdana lepita liṅgaṃ
The Liṅga anointed with kumkuma and sandal paste,

Verse 19 — பம்கஜ ஹார ஸுஶோபித லிங்கம்

பம்கஜ ஹார ஸுஶோபித லிங்கம்
paṃkaja hāra suśobhita liṅgaṃ
the Liṅga beautified with garlands of lotuses,

Verse 20 — ஸம்சித பாப விநாஶக லிங்கம்

ஸம்சித பாப விநாஶக லிங்கம்
saṃcita pāpa vināśaka liṅgaṃ
the Liṅga that destroys accumulated sins —

Verse 21 — தத் ப்ரணமாமி ஸதாஶிவ லிங்கம்

tat praṇamāmi sadāśiva liṅgaṃ

Verse 22 — தேவாகணார்சித ஸேவித லிங்கம்

devāgaṇārcita sevita liṅgaṃ
The Liṅga served and worshipped by the hosts of gods,

Verse 23 — பாவை-ர்பக்திபிரேவ ச லிங்கம்

பாவை-ர்பக்திபிரேவ ச லிங்கம்
bhāvai-rbhaktibhireva ca liṅgaṃ
the Liṅga worshipped with true and heartfelt devotion,

Verse 24 — திநகர கோடீ ப்ரபாகர லிங்கம்

dinakara koṭī prabhākara liṅgaṃ
the Liṅga radiant as ten million suns —

sarvasamudbhava kāraṇa liṅgaṃ

suraguru suravara pūjita liṅgaṃ
The Liṅga worshipped by the guru of the gods and the foremost devas,

Verse 31 — ஸுரவந புஷ்ப ஸதார்சித லிங்கம்

ஸுரவந புஷ்ப ஸதார்சித லிங்கம்
suravana puṣpa sadārcita liṅgaṃ
the Liṅga ever worshipped with flowers of the celestial groves,

Verse 32 — பராத்பர பராமாத்மக லிங்கம்

parātpara parāmātmaka liṅgaṃ
the Liṅga that is the Supreme Self, higher than the highest —

ஶிவலோகமவாப்நோதீ ஶிவேந ஸஹ மோதிதே
śivalokamavāpnotī śivena saha modite
attains the abode of Śiva and rejoices in his company.
