Verse 1 — ರಥವನೇರಿದ ರಾಘವೇಂದ್ರ ಸದ್ಗುಣಗಣಸಾಂದ್ರಾ

ರಥವನೇರಿದ ರಾಘವೇಂದ್ರ ಸದ್ಗುಣಗಣಸಾಂದ್ರಾ

rathavanerida rāghaveṃdra sadguṇagaṇasāṃdrā

Raghavendra who ascended the chariot, dense with the host of excellent virtues.

Verse 2 — ಸತತ ಮಾರ್ಗದಿ ಸಂತತ ಸೇವಿಪರಿಗೆ

ಸತತ ಮಾರ್ಗದಿ ಸಂತತ ಸೇವಿಪರಿಗೆ

satata mārgadi saṃtata seviparigè

To those who serve him unceasingly, treading the path of devotion without pause,

Verse 3 — ಅತಿ ಹಿತದಲಿ ಮನೋರಥವ ನೀಡುವೆನೆಂದು

ಅತಿ ಹಿತದಲಿ ಮನೋರಥವ ನೀಡುವೆನೆಂದು

ati hitadali manorathava nīḍuvènèṃdu

he promises to fulfil every wish of their hearts with exceeding love.

Verse 4 — ಚತುರ ದಿಕ್ಕುವಿದಿಕ್ಕುಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಹರಿವೋ ಜನರಲ್ಲಿ

ಚತುರ ದಿಕ್ಕುವಿದಿಕ್ಕುಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಹರಿವೋ ಜನರಲ್ಲಿ

catura dikkuvidikkugal̤alli harivo janaralli

To the people wandering through all the four directions and the quarters between,

Verse 5 — ಮಿತಿಯಿಲ್ಲದೆ ಬಂದು ಓಲೈಸುತಲಿ ವರಗಳ ಬೇಡುತಲಿ

ಮಿತಿಯಿಲ್ಲದೆ ಬಂದು ಓಲೈಸುತಲಿ ವರಗಳ ಬೇಡುತಲಿ

mitiyilladè baṃdu olaisutali varagal̤a beḍutali

who come without measure to be waited upon, pleading for boons,

Verse 6 — ನುತಿಸುತ ಪರಿಪರಿ ನತರಾಗಿ ಹರಿಗೆ

ನುತಿಸುತ ಪರಿಪರಿ ನತರಾಗಿ ಹರಿಗೆ

nutisuta paripari natarāgi harigè

praising Hari in many ways and bowing before him,

Verse 7 — ಗತಿಪೇಳದೆ ಸರ್ವಥಾ ನಾ ಬಿಡೆನೆಂದು

ಗತಿಪೇಳದೆ ಸರ್ವಥಾ ನಾ ಬಿಡೆನೆಂದು

gatipel̤adè sarvathā nā biḍènèṃdu

he will never, in any manner, forsake them without showing the way to liberation.

Verse 8 — ಅತುಲ ಮಹಿಮಾನೆ ಆ ದಿನದಲ್ಲಿ ದಿತಿವಂಶದಲಿ

atula mahimānè ā dinadalli ditivaṃśadali

O one of incomparable glory! On that day, in the line of Diti the daityas,

Verse 9 — ಉತ್ಪತ್ತಿಯಾಗಿ ಉಚಿತದಲ್ಲಿ ಉತ್ತಮ ಮತಿಯಲ್ಲಿ

utpattiyāgi ucitadalli uttama matiyalli

being born in the fitting way, with a most excellent intellect,

atiśayavirutirè pitana bādhègè manmathapitanòlisidè jita karuṇadali

when the father's affliction waxed excessive, he propitiated the father of Manmatha with a heart won over by compassion.

Verse 11 — ಪ್ರಥಮ ಪ್ರಹ್ಲಾದ ವ್ಯಾಸಮುನಿಯೆ ಯತಿ ರಾಘವೇಂದ್ರ

ಪ್ರಥಮ ಪ್ರಹ್ಲಾದ ವ್ಯಾಸಮುನಿಯೆ ಯತಿ ರಾಘವೇಂದ್ರ

prathama prahlāda vyāsamuniyè yati rāghaveṃdra

O the foremost Prahlāda, O the sage Vyāsa, O the ascetic Rāghavendra!

Verse 12 — ಪ್ರತಿವಾದಿ ಕದಳಿವನಕರಿಯೆ ಕರ ಮುಗಿವೆನು ದೊರೆಯೆ

ಪ್ರತಿವಾದಿ ಕದಳಿವನಕರಿಯೆ ಕರ ಮುಗಿವೆನು ದೊರೆಯೆ

prativādi kadal̤ivanakariyè kara mugivènu dòrèyè

O elephant who flattens the grove of rival disputants — I fold my hands to you, O lord!
