Hail to you who dwell on the bank of the Tuṅgabhadrā, O gracious one of divine form in Mantrālaya! Show your mercy upon me, the frightened one — O you of fragrant, far-famed renown!

O divine-formed one, ever dear to your devotees — grant divine vision to those devoted to the worship of your feet and intoxicated with the nectar of your name.

O you who have well expounded the Gītā, whose virtues are sung by poets — make your abode in my heart, O refuge of the devotees who crowd around you.

May my heart dwell in delight upon him whose feet are worshipped by the lords of yogis, who rejoices in the homage of the yogic sages — the moon of the Timmaṇṇa lineage!

ತಪ್ತಸುಕಾಂಚನಸದೃಶೇ ದಂಡಕಮಂಡಲಹಸ್ತೇ ।

taptasukāñcanasadṛśe daṇḍakamaṇḍalahaste |

May my heart delight in him who shines like molten gold, who holds the staff and water-pot and is adorned with the choicest of rosaries!
