I am not the mind, the intellect, the ego, or the memory;

na ca śrotrajihve na ca ghrāṇanetre |
nor the ears and tongue, nor the nose and eyes;
Verse 4 — న చ వ్యోమభూమిర్న తేజో న వాయుః

na ca vyomabhūmirna tejo na vāyuḥ
nor space, earth, fire, or air —

Verse 6 — న చ ప్రాణసంజ్ఞో న వై పఞ్చవాయుః
న చ ప్రాణసంజ్ఞో న వై పఞ్చవాయుః
na ca prāṇasaṃjño na vai pañcavāyuḥ
I am not the vital breath, nor the five vital airs;
Verse 7 — న వా సప్తధాతుర్న వా పఞ్చకోశః ।
న వా సప్తధాతుర్న వా పఞ్చకోశః ।
na vā saptadhāturna vā pañcakośaḥ |
nor the seven bodily constituents, nor the five sheaths;
Verse 8 — న వాక్పాణిపాదం న చోపస్థపాయూ
న వాక్పాణిపాదం న చోపస్థపాయూ
na vākpāṇipādaṃ na copasthapāyū
nor speech, hands, feet, or the organs of generation and excretion —

cidānandarūpaḥ śivo'haṃ śivo'ham
I am the very form of consciousness and bliss; I am Śiva, I am Śiva.
Verse 10 — న మే ద్వేషరాగౌ న మే లోభమోహౌ
న మే ద్వేషరాగౌ న మే లోభమోహౌ
na me dveṣarāgau na me lobhamohau
I have neither aversion nor attachment, neither greed nor delusion;
Verse 11 — మదో నైవ మే నైవ మాత్సర్యభావః ।
మదో నైవ మే నైవ మాత్సర్యభావః ।
mado naiva me naiva mātsaryabhāvaḥ |
no pride, and not the least sense of envy;
Verse 12 — న ధర్మో న చార్థో న కామో న మోక్షః

na dharmo na cārtho na kāmo na mokṣaḥ
I am beyond dharma, wealth, desire, and even liberation —

Verse 14 — న పుణ్యం న పాపం న సౌఖ్యం న దుఃఖం

na puṇyaṃ na pāpaṃ na saukhyaṃ na duḥkhaṃ
Neither merit nor sin, neither pleasure nor pain;
Verse 15 — న మన్త్రో న తీర్థో న వేదా న యజ్ఞః ।
న మన్త్రో న తీర్థో న వేదా న యజ్ఞః ।
na mantro na tīrtho na vedā na yajñaḥ |
neither sacred formula, holy place, Veda, nor sacrifice;
Verse 16 — అహం భోజనం నైవ భోజ్యం న భోక్తా
అహం భోజనం నైవ భోజ్యం న భోక్తా
ahaṃ bhojanaṃ naiva bhojyaṃ na bhoktā
I am neither the act of eating, nor the food, nor the eater —
Verse 17 — చిదానన్దరూపః శివోఽహం శివోఽహమ్

cidānandarūpaḥ śivo'haṃ śivo'ham
I am the very form of consciousness and bliss; I am Śiva, I am Śiva.
Verse 18 — న మే మృత్యుశఙ్కా న మే జాతిభేదః
న మే మృత్యుశఙ్కా న మే జాతిభేదః
na me mṛtyuśaṅkā na me jātibhedaḥ
I have no fear of death, and no distinction of birth or class;
Verse 19 — పితా నైవ మే నైవ మాతా న జన్మ ।
పితా నైవ మే నైవ మాతా న జన్మ ।
pitā naiva me naiva mātā na janma |
I have no father, no mother, and no birth;
Verse 20 — న బన్ధుర్న మిత్రం గురుర్నైవ శిష్యః

na bandhurna mitraṃ gururnaiva śiṣyaḥ
no kinsman or friend, no teacher and no disciple —

unattached, neither bound nor liberated, and beyond all measure —
