నిన్న ఓ̀లుమే̀యింద నిఖిళ జనరు బందు మన్నిసువరో̀ మహరాయ
ninna òlumèyiṃda nikhil̤a janaru baṃdu mannisuvarò maharāya
By Your love, all the people came and honored me, O great King.

ènna puṇyagal̤iṃda ī pari uṃṭeno ninnade sakala saṃpattu
Could this be from my own merits? All this wealth is Yours alone. (pallavi)

Verse 3 — జీర్ణ మలిన వస్త్ర కాణద మనుజగే̀ ఊర్ణ విచిత్ర వసన

జీర్ణ మలిన వస్త్ర కాణద మనుజగే̀ ఊర్ణ విచిత్ర వసన
jīrṇa malina vastra kāṇada manujagè ūrṇa vicitra vasana
I, who knew only worn-out, soiled clothes — now woolen garments of wondrous beauty!

వర్ణవర్ణదింద బాహోదేనో̀ సంపూర్ణ గుణార్ణవ దేవా
varṇavarṇadiṃda bāhodenò saṃpūrṇa guṇārṇava devā
Robes of every splendid hue have come to me — O Deva, ocean of all perfections!

సంజీతనక ఇద్దు సణ్ణ సవటు తుంబ గంజి కాణదే̀ బళలిదే̀నో̀
saṃjītanaka iddu saṇṇa savaṭu tuṃba gaṃji kāṇadè bal̤alidènò
I lingered till evening, weary, without even a small ladleful of gruel in sight.

వ్యంజన నానా సుభక్ష్య భోజ్యంగళ భుంజిసువదు మత్తేనో ?
vyaṃjana nānā subhakṣya bhojyaṃgal̤a bhuṃjisuvadu matteno ?
And now — to feast on savory dishes and delicious foods of every kind! What more is there?

Verse 7 — ఓ̀బ్బ హే̀ంగసిగే̀ అన్న హాకువదక్కే̀…

ఓ̀బ్బ హే̀ంగసిగే̀ అన్న హాకువదక్కే̀ తబ్బిబ్బుగో̀ండే̀ నా హిందే̀
òbba hèṃgasigè anna hākuvadakkè tabbibbugòṃḍè nā hiṃdè
Once, I was flustered even at serving a meal to a single woman.

నిబ్బరదలి సర్వర కూడిన్ను హబ్బవనుండే̀నో̀ హరియే̀
nibbaradali sarvara kūḍinnu habbavanuṃḍènò hariyè
Now, O Hari, I join everyone and feast at the festival, in perfect ease!

మనే̀మనే̀ తిరుగిదే̀ కాసు పుట్టదే̀ సుమ్మనే̀ జాలవరిదు బాహేను
manèmanè tirugidè kāsu puṭṭadè summanè jālavaridu bāhenu
I wandered from house to house — not a coin was given — and came back, idling my time away.

హణ హో̀న్ను ద్రవ్య ఓ̀మ్మిందో̀మ్మే̀ ఈగ ఏ̀నగే̀ ప్రాపుతి నోడో జీయ
haṇa hònnu dravya òmmiṃdòmmè īga ènagè prāputi noḍo jīya
See, dear friend — money, gold, and riches have all come to me at once!

మధ్యాహ్న కాలక్కే̀ అతిథిగళిగే̀ అన్న మే̀ద్దే̀నే̀ందరే̀ ఈయదాదే̀
madhyāhna kālakkè atithigal̤igè anna mèddènèṃdarè īyadādè
At midday, when guests arrived, if I said I had already eaten, nothing would be served.

ī dharèyòl̤u satpātrariguṇisuva paddhati noḍò dharmātma
Behold, O noble soul — now I uphold this world’s custom of feeding worthy guests!

Verse 13 — నీచోచ్ఛ తిళియదే̀ సర్వర చరణకే̀ చాచిదే̀ నో̀సలు…

నీచోచ్ఛ తిళియదే̀ సర్వర చరణకే̀ చాచిదే̀ నో̀సలు హస్తగళ
nīcoccha til̤iyadè sarvara caraṇakè cācidè nòsalu hastagal̤a
Not knowing high from low, I stretched out my hands at everyone’s feet, forehead bowed.

Verse 14 — యోచిసి నోడలు సోజిగవాగిదే̀ వాచకే̀ నిలుకదో̀ హరియే̀

yocisi noḍalu sojigavāgidè vācakè nilukadò hariyè
When I reflect on it, it is a marvel — O Hari, beyond the reach of words!
