Remember and live thus, bowing at the sacred feet that destroy suffering and protect — such is the creed of the Vijaya Guru.

He who received the grace of the master of dasas, free from flaws, filled with joy —

Wise, a ocean of strength, serene, honourable, a mine of great donations —

Filled with delight, who knows the five-fold distinction, whose conduct is holy, who has forgotten all sorrow —

Those who trust in him — is it not our faith that worldly bondage falls away?

You shall not sorrow; joy shall be yours; the grace of the primordial Lord shall be yours.

He who protects from suffering, who cuts away sin that has come, who draws one near to the feet of the Lord of Shri —

Reading the Vedas, debating — these are of no use without trusting the feet of the wise.

To give charity, to sing divine songs, to gain wisdom — none is possible without being devoted to him.

When one attempts worship, obstacles arise; the fruit of the very seed does not come easily.

All the celestial beings hold his hand; the foolish turn back and follow behind.

All the planets serve him and day and night pour down waves of happiness.

Disease shall not come, bodily affliction shall not touch; the grace of the primordial Lord shall be yours.

I, a wretched and dull-witted one, cannot fully describe his infinite glories.

With compassion he protects us and with kindness he destroys the multitudes of suffering.
