க்ரு'ஷ்ண க்ரு'ஷ்ண க்ரு'ஷ்ணயே̀ம்து மூருபாரி நே̀நே̀யிரோ̀

kṛṣṇa kṛṣṇa kṛṣṇayèṃdu mūrubāri nènèyirò

Chant “Krishna, Krishna, Krishna” — remember Him but three times,

Verse 2 — ஸம்துஷ்டநாகி முகுதி கோ̀ட்டு மிக்க பார ஹோ̀ருவநோ̀

ஸம்துஷ்டநாகி முகுதி கோ̀ட்டு மிக்க பார ஹோ̀ருவநோ̀

saṃtuṣṭanāgi mukuti kòṭṭu mikka bhāra hòruvanò

and, well pleased, He grants liberation and shoulders every remaining burden of yours besides. || refrain ||

கமலநாபந சிந்ஹே̀யந்நு தரிஸிகோ̀ம்டு மே̀ரே̀யிரோ̀

kamalanābhana cinhèyannu dharisikòṃḍu mèrèyirò

Wear the emblem of Kamalanabha, the lotus-navelled Lord, and walk radiant,

Verse 6 — யமந படரு நோடி அம்ஜி அடவிகே̀ ஹோகுவரோ̀

யமந படரு நோடி அம்ஜி அடவிகே̀ ஹோகுவரோ̀

yamana bhaṭaru noḍi aṃji aḍavigè hoguvarò

and Yama’s guards, seeing it, will flee in fear into the forest. ||2||

janmavètti madhvamatava anusarisi naḍèyirò

Take this human birth and walk in the path of Madhva’s teaching,
