ide samaya raṅga bārelo

Verse 1 — ide samaya raṃga bārèlò

ide samaya raṃga bārèlò
Ide Samaya Ranga Barelo — “Come now, Ranga, this very moment!” — a muṇḍige of Purandara Dasaru: a gopika, and the seeking soul, calls Krishna while the household is distracted.

Verse 2 — ide samaya raṃga bārèlò ide samaya kṛṣṇa bārèlò

ide samaya raṃga bārèlò ide samaya kṛṣṇa bārèlò
Come now, Ranga — come now, Krishna! This is the very moment — come to me.

My sister-in-law is absorbed in her lakh-wick vow and will not rise till it ends; my mother-in-law is lost in a purana discourse and will be long in coming — none will notice.

Verse 4 — māva ènnali aviśvāsiyo maduvèyāda gaṃḍanu…

māva ènnali aviśvāsiyo maduvèyāda gaṃḍanu udāsiyo bhāvanu ènna sera hesiyo nī ī vel̤ègè baṃdarè vāsiyo
My father-in-law distrusts me, my husband is indifferent, my brother-in-law shuns my company — if You come at this very hour, it is perfect.

Verse 5 — taṃdè tāyi āsè māḍènò ènna kaṃdana melè…

taṃdè tāyi āsè māḍènò ènna kaṃdana melè manasiḍènò maṃdaradhara puraṃdaraviṭhṭhala nī baṃdarè caraṇa sevè māl̤pènò
I crave neither parents nor my own child; O lifter of Mandara, Purandara Vittala — if You come now, I shall serve Your feet.
