Perform and partake of your own prescribed duty, ever with your mind humbly bowed at Hari's feet; for Hari alone is supreme, Hari alone the guru, Hari alone the father, mother, and refuge of the world.
na tato'styaparaṃ jagadīḍyatamaṃ paramātparataḥ puruṣottamataḥ | tadalaṃ bahulokavicintanayā pravaṇaṃ kuru mānasamīśapade ||
There is none other than He most worthy of the world's worship — higher than the highest, the Supreme Person; so enough of dwelling on the many worlds — bend your mind toward the Lord's feet.
For one who but strives to remember Hari's feet, all sin swiftly dissolves; and for one who truly remembers, the supreme state of liberation will clearly come — so why is this neglected?
ಶೃಣುತಾಮಲಸತ್ಯವಚಃ ಪರಮಂ ಶಪಥೇರಿತಂ ಉಚ್ಛ್ರಿತಬಾಹುಯುಗಂ । ನ ಹರೇಃ ಪರಮೋ ನ ಹರೇಃ ಸದೃಶಃ ಪರಮಃ ಸ ತು ಸರ್ವ ಚಿದಾತ್ಮಗಣಾತ್ ॥
śṛṇutāmalasatyavacaḥ paramaṃ śapatheritaṃ ucchritabāhuyugam | na hareḥ paramo na hareḥ sadṛśaḥ paramaḥ sa tu sarva cidātmagaṇāt ||
Hear this pure, supreme, truthful word, declared on oath with both arms upraised: none is higher than Hari, none is even equal to Hari, and He alone is supreme over the whole host of sentient souls.
ಯದಿ ನಾಮ ಪರೋ ನ ಭವೇತ ಹರಿಃ ಕಥಮಸ್ಯ ವಶೇ ಜಗದೇತದಭೂತ್ । ಯದಿ ನಾಮ ನ ತಸ್ಯ ವಶೇ ಸಕಲಂ ಕಥಮೇವ ತು ನಿತ್ಯಸುಖಂ ನ ಭವೇತ್ ॥
yadi nāma paro na bhaveta hariḥ kathamasya vaśe jagadetadabhūt | yadi nāma na tasya vaśe sakalaṃ kathameva tu nityasukhaṃ na bhavet ||
Were Hari not supreme, how could this whole world have come under His sway? And were not all things under His control, how could His bliss ever be eternal and unimpeded?

ನ ಚ ಕರ್ಮವಿಮಾಮಲ ಕಾಲಗುಣಪ್ರಭೃತೀಶಮಚಿತ್ತನು ತದ್ಧಿ ಯತಃ । ಚಿದಚಿತ್ತನು ಸರ್ವಮಸೌ ತು ಹರಿರ್ಯಮಯೇದಿತಿ ವೈದಿಕಮಸ್ತಿ ವಚಃ ॥
na ca karmavimāmala kālaguṇaprabhṛtīśamacittanu taddhi yataḥ | cidacittanu sarvamasau tu hariryamayediti vaidikamasti vacaḥ ||
Neither karma, nor time, nor the guṇas and the rest — being insentient — can be the ruling Lord; for the Vedic word declares that Hari alone governs all, both sentient and insentient, as their inner controller.

ವ್ಯವಹಾರಭಿದಾಽಪಿ ಗುರೋರ್ಜಗತಾಂ ನ ತು ಚಿತ್ತಗತಾ ಸ ಹಿ ಚೋದ್ಯಪರಂ । ಬಹವಃ ಪುರುಷಾಃ ಪುರುಷಪ್ರವರೋ ಹರಿರಿತ್ಯವದತ್ಸ್ವಯಮೇವ ಹರಿಃ ॥
vyavahārabhidā'pi gurorjagatāṃ na tu cittagatā sa hi codyaparam | bahavaḥ puruṣāḥ puruṣapravaro harirityavadatsvayameva hariḥ ||
Even the scriptural distinction of the world's Lord from souls is real, not a mere mental fancy — for that (denial) would be the gravest objection; "the souls are many, and Hari is the highest of persons," Hari Himself declared.
caturānana pūrvavimuktagaṇā harimetya tu pūrvavadeva sadā | niyatoccavinīcatayaiva nijāṃ sthitimāpuriti sma paraṃ vacanam ||
The hosts of the liberated, led by four-faced Brahmā, on reaching Hari abide forever just as before, each in his own fixed rank of higher and lower — such is the supreme teaching.
