Ranga has come, Ranga has come,

Verse 2 — ènna taṃdè bālakṛṣṇa navanītacora

ènna taṃdè bālakṛṣṇa navanītacora

come father, Bālakṛṣṇa, the butter-thief.

Verse 3 — ghalu ghalu ghalurèṃba pònnòṃdu gèjjèya

ghalu ghalu ghalurèṃba pònnòṃdu gèjjèya

His golden anklets jingle “ghalu-ghalu”,

Verse 4 — hòl̤è hòl̤è hòl̤èyuva pādavanūruta

hòl̤è hòl̤è hòl̤èyuva pādavanūruta

his feet radiantly walk and bless all.

Verse 5 — nali nali nalidāḍuta uṃguradaral̤èlè

nali nali nalidāḍuta uṃguradaral̤èlè

His rings sway like tender fig-leaves,

Verse 6 — thal̤a thal̤a thal̤a hòl̤èyuta śrīkṛṣṇa

and the light shines forth from Śrī Kṛṣṇa as he plays.

His bangles tinkle “kiṇi-kiṇi” on his arms,

Verse 8 — jhaṇa jhaṇa jhaṇarèṃba naḍuvina ghaṃṭè

and his waist-bells ring “jhaṇa-jhaṇa”.

His foot-anklets echo “ḍaṇa-ḍaṇa”,

and Śrī Kṛṣṇa dances in playful delight.
