New stotras, recitations, and app improvements — newest first.
Oct 12 – 18, 2026
We added Varagaḷanu Koḍuvudu, Vijayadasa's hymn to Lord Subrahmanya, the Nāma Rāmāyaṇam — 108 names of Rāma that sing the whole Rāmāyaṇa — Āva Rōgavo Enage Deva Dhanvantri, Gopala Dasa's plea to Lord Dhanvantari, Gōvinda Salahennanu, Kanaka Dasa's plea to Govinda naming His ten avatars, Himagiri Tanaye, Muthiah Bhagavathar's song to the Goddess as the golden-creeper Mother, Rāghavendra Stuti, Veṅkaṭarāya's ten-verse hymn to Guru Rāghavendra, two songs of Purandara Dasa — Vēṇunāda Bārō, a call to Lord Veṅkaṭaramaṇa to come to the flute's music, and Vīra Hanuma Bahu Parākrama, honouring Hanuman, Bhīma, and Madhvacharya as the three forms of Mukhyaprāṇa — the Saraswatī Stotram, Agastya's hymn to the goddess of learning that students chant before they begin their studies, and Rāma Rāma Emberadakṣara, Vijaya Dasa's song on the two syllables Rāma Rāma that sheltered the good. When a recitation ends, the app now plays the suggested next recitation on its own, right on the video. Reopening a text you left midway offers a Start over button that takes you back to the beginning. We also corrected the Durgā Sūktam text — its closing verses now match the Challakere Brothers recitation.
We added four new hymns: the Bilvashtakam for Lord Shiva, the Govindashtakam for Lord Krishna, the Hanuman Chalisa, and the Venkatesa Suprabhatam — the seventy-verse dawn hymn chanted every morning at Tirumala. We also added Anukrama, a smart ordering for your collection that refreshes daily, a one-tap Listen button on category and artist pages, and playlists you can truly make yours — pick what plays next, drag songs into any order (even in built-in lists, which become your own copy that stays in sync across your devices). Texts with a follow-along video or verse commentary now show a small tappable dot on their card explaining what it does, and new listeners get a gentle glow pointing at the play button.
We added 15 new devotional songs: Alli Nodalu Rama, Viṭhala Salaho Svāmi Namma, Kāḍa Beḷadingaḷu Sansāra Kattale, Narasimhana Paada, Kashtapattaru Illa Kalavalisidaru, Purandara Dasa’s Loḷaloṭṭe Ellā Loḷaloṭṭe on the hollowness of worldly glory, Kanaka Dasa’s Dāsadāsara Maneya Dāsānudāsa, Purandara Dasa’s Ugabhoga Jagava Suttihudella Māyeyayya, Vijaya Dasa’s Ninna Olumeyinda, five more Ugabhogas — Ādiyali Gajamukhana (on Ganesha), Baliya Manege Vāmana, Mātāpitaru Ninagande, Vyasatirtha’s Maneyinda Santosha, and Śrīrāma Endare — plus Madhvacharya’s two-verse Kanduka Stuti on Krishna at play. The app now suggests a reading language based on your region the first time you open it, chant lists shared by friends open reliably again, we corrected the verses of Śrīpatiyu Namage where lines were out of order, and every song-type and singer page now carries a short About note — in Kannada and Hindi too.
We added 7 new texts: three Vedic hymns (the Manyu, Medha, and Ayushya Suktams), three songs for Navaratri (Bhavani Ashtakam, the Devi Aparadha Kshamapana Stotram, and Chitta Shuddhiyillada), and the Narasimha Stuti. Vedic verses now show their traditional chanting marks, any verse can be shared as a picture, Narayana Suktam has a verse-by-verse pronunciation guide, and the repeat-one-verse button is easier to spot.
We added 5 new devotional songs, including Purandara Dasa's morning hymn Munjāne Eddu Govinda Enni and Kanaka Dasa's playful riddle Ēne Manavitte Lalitāṅgi. You can now browse by singer with a cleaner artist page and search that stays within it, read short life stories on composer pages, and spot recitations that follow the text line by line.
We added 4 new devotional songs: Madhwanama, Aaneya Kadare Aadimoola, Vijaya Kavacha, and Purandara Dasa's Ī Pariya Sōbagava. Tap any verse to loop it while you learn or recite — the loop clears when you scroll away. Video recitations now scroll smoothly and keep the active verse centred on screen; pausing and resuming no longer jumps the text. Playlists now start playing with a single tap on iPhone.
We added 7 new devotional songs, including three Ugabhogas — Anuvige Anuvagi, Tala Beku Takka Mela Beku, and Endendu Intha Chodya Kandaddillavo — and Vandisuvudadiyali Gananathana, Purandara Dasa's hymn to Lord Ganesha. Playlists moved to their own app with screen-off listening and reliable tap-to-play on phones, video recitations now sync with the text as they play, search got smarter, and we corrected several texts including a restored verse in Krishna Baro and a closing shanti verse in Narayana Suktam.
